AGS works closely with Freeman College to give support, work experience opportunities and student development.
Freeman College is an independent specialist college educating young people with complex behaviour and learning difficulties including autistic spectrum conditions.
They offer a student-centred approach to holistic development through the Integrated Learning for Living & Work (ILLW) programme where a vast range of accredited courses and qualifications are on offer from pre-entry level to GCSE.
They provide residential and day provision for ages 16-25 and accept applications all year round.
Housed in a beautiful former cutlery works, the College draws upon the rich history of the area and harnesses the therapeutic nature of a craft and land based curriculum. Workshop sessions such as metallurgy, forging, jewellery, textiles, and the arts.
